C. & O. Application



WASHINGTON- The Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Co. has been authorized by the Interstate Commerce Commission to acquire and operate two branch lines of railroad in Kentucky. 

One line known as the Stephens branch extends from Dinwood to a connection with the C.&O. in Floyd County, Ky., a distance of nearly two miles, and the other known as the Jones Fork branch from a point near Lackey to a point in Knott County, a distance of about two miles.
