M. "Jimmy" Castle
1912-1993
James M. "Jimmy" Castle, 80, of
Wayland, died November 8, at Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center
following a short illness.
Born December 3, 1912 in Johnson County, he
was the son of the late Harrison and Rosetta Vanhoose Castle. He was a retired
mine foreman, formerly employed by Elkhorn Coal Company and Mosey Johnson Coal
Company.
Survivers include his wife Lola Gore Castle;
two sons, Bobby Joe Castle of Wayland
and Jimmy Castle Jr. of Foster; two brothers, Willard Castle of Stone and
Clifford Castle of Newport News, Virginia; two sisters, Roberta Weaver of
London and Buelah Joyce of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November
11, at 11 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. L.R. Marcum and
Rev. Ermal "Red" Isom officiating.
Burial will be in the Martin Cemetery at
Wayland under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
