Jessie
L. Webb, age 83, of Ross, Ohio, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital, Thursday
morning, October 24, 2002. She was born in Wayland, Kentucky, the daughter of
Walter and Mary Ellen (Cox) Martin.
She was educated in the Wayland, Kentucky
local schools. On June 20, 1939, she married her husband of 63 years, Clarence
A. Webb. Jessie was a very loving and caring woman whose main
concern in life was her family and friends. She is going to be greatly missed
by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by three sons, Clarence A.
Webb, Jr. and his wife Jean, Walter Scott Webb and Phillip Rodney Webb, all of
Hamilton; four grandchildren, Gregory L Webb and his wife Susan of Brownsburg,
Indiana, Melissa Webb, Rodney Webb and Michael A Webb, all of Hamilton; three
great grandchildren, Amanda Jean, Kristi Lee and Terra. Lynn Webb, all of
Brownsburg, Indiana; three brothers, Eugene Martin of Chillicothe, Ohio,
George P. Martin of Hazard, Kentucky and Shirley R. Martin of Wayland,
Kentucky; two sisters, Myrtle Harrigan and Tommie Pack, both of New York. Also
survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Walter, Blaine, Edward
and Ben Martin; four sisters, Anna Williams, Jeanette Triplett, Beatrice
Honshell and Phyllis Lockhart; and one grandson, Jeffrey S. Webb.
Visitation
will be at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton-Cleves Road, Ross,
Ohio Monday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday 11 :00 a.m. at the
funeral home followed by burial in Millville Cemetery. If desired, memorials
may be made to the charity of one's choice
