  Aged Wayland Resident Is Claimed At Martin; Funeral Held Wednesday

Lee Martin, 85, of Wayland died Sunday at Our Lady of the Way Hospital, Martin, following a series of strokes. He had been in failing health five years. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Martin was a son of Marion and Caroline Mayo Martin and the husband of Katherine Martin who survives. Surviving sons and daughters are Marion Martin, Talmadge Martin, and Miss Katherine Martin, all of Wayland, Harry Martin of Garrett, Melvin Martin of Estill, Tom Martin, Batavia, Ohio; Mrs. Opal Burchett, of Emma, and Mrs. Ruth Roop, Marion Ohio. A brother and two sisters surviving are Earl Martin of Wayland, Mrs. Minnie Flanery and Mrs. Jimmy Martin, both of Allen.

Funeral rites were conducted from the Wayland Methodist Church at II a.m. Wednesday and burial was made in the Martin Cemetery at Wayland under the direction of Rail Brothers Funeral Home.
