            Lloyd Daniels, 69, Ex-Railroad Conductor, Dies in Lexington, Ky.

Richard Lloyd Daniels, 69 years old, retired C & O railway conductor died Friday in a Lexington Hospital, where he had been a patient a short time.

Mr. Daniels was a son of Ham and Mary McFarlane Daniels, and was a native of Johnson County. He had resided at Wayland since 1918, and was widely known in this county. He was a member of the Order of  Rail-road Trainmen and of the Wayland Odd Fellows and The Rebekah Lodges.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs.Luella Heffner Daniels, four daughters; Miss Thelma Daniels and Mrs. Willard Castle both of Wayland, Mrs. Hazel Callicoat, Huntington, W. Va. and Mrs. Herma D. Kloth, St. Louis Missouri, also by one brother Frank Daniels, of New York City, and one sister, Mrs. Nola Pack of Paintsville.

Funeral rites were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Wayland Methodist Church, the Rev. L. B. Price officiating. Burial was made in the United Mine Worker's Cemetery at Eastern under the direction of the Arnold Funeral Home.
