Marie D. Castle

                                    1914-1985

Marie D Castle, 71, of Stone, formerly of Wayland, died last Tuesday, October 29,at St. Lukes Hospital. Maumee, Ohio, following a short illness. She was born April 27, 1914 at Olive Hill, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Ella Heffner Daniels.

She was a member of the Wayland Methodist Church for 54 years. She is survived by her husband Willard Castle; a son, Michael Harrison Castle, of Stone; a daughter Mary Lois Williamson, of Waterville, Oh.; a sister, Thelma Daniels, of Wayland, five-grandchildren who resided with her for sometime, Charles Hounshell of Ransom, Michael H Hounshell of Swanton, Oh., Sherry Laity of Milford, Mich. Jean Peppers of Monclova, Oh.,  Jackie Alford of Creedmore N.C. and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Parsley and Herma Kloth.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m., at the Wayland Methodist Church with Rev. Wayman McGuire officiating. Burial was made in the Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
