Rosetta Vanhoose Castle
Rosetta Castle, 79, died in a regional hospital near her Wayland home on September 22 1970. Services were held three days later at the Wayland United Methodist Church, by Claude Preston and Millard VanHoose. The Jones-Preston Funeral Home took charge of burial arrangements in the Martin Cemetery at Wayland.
She was born in Johnson County to the late Bill and Martha Music VanHoose and belonged to the Estil Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harrison Castle, three sons, Jimmy Castle, from Wayland; Willard Castle, of Stone; and Clifford Castle, from Newport News, Va.; three daughters, Lora Corver, and Roberta Weaver, of Wayland; as well as Beulah Joyce from Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Nathan and Joe VanHoose of Alger, Ohio; Ollie Taylor from No_a, Va.; ten grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Castle suffered an extended illness.
