This photo is
interesting, she has been identified as Lydia
Van Hoose Meade w/o Robert Meade d/o Levi and
Sarah Clark Van Hoose, while sometime back she
was identified as Lydia Phelfrey who married
Nathan Van Hoose. Now I have a 3rd identity from
Nyoka Blevins stating that this photo is
Sarah Jane Meade Daniel daughter of
Robert and Lydia Van Hoose Meade wife of
William Daniel. This information came
from her great grandmother Marjorle Cagg
who was a granddaughter of William and
Sarah Jane Meade Daniel. Marjorle Cagg is still
living. |

This photo is
identified on the back as "Eugene Vanhoose". I
am guessing that at one time he lived in Johnson
County, Kentucky. I also am guessing that this
photo was taken around 1900. I am curious about
his connection with the Jesse W. Caudill family
formerly of Barnetts Creek area and Scioto
County, Ohio. Jesse was the son of William and
Martha Hitchcock Caudill of Barnetts
