This photo of Air Force One was taken the day President George W Bush + President Vicente Fox came to Toledo, just 5 days before the attacks of 9-11. I was at work when the plane arrived at about 2:00pm, I work and live near the airport, I saw the helicopters flying over head before the plane landed but I missed out on the plane, traffic was backed up for about 45 mins. as they had blocked off the road in front of my work and surrounding areas. I understand this plane was to be retired after this trip. Date Taken: Sept 6, 2001, Toledo Express Airport. Photo courtesy of my friend "Sue Willer" who's son works at the Toledo Express Airport. |
