I dedicate this page to my great aunt Miss Thelma Daniels, she was a wonderful person as well as an out standing teacher at Wayland starting in 1933 and at Allen Central High School until her retirement in 1974.
I must say that those where the happiest years of her life, doing what she loved so dearly. She always spoke
so highly of all of her students and remembered them all very well. These pictures were dear to her so I
wanted to share them with you all. You may notice that the picture above is separated down the center, it
was such a big pic that it wouldn't fit on my scanner, so I had to scan it in two sections and then peice it
together. I am very fond of this pic because in it are 3 of my family members. Seated on the far left is my
Dad's brother and my uncle Walter Honshell, while on the right 4th one over is my great uncle Shirley Martin. Shirley is brother to my late grandmother Beatrice Martin Honshell, and uncle to my uncle Walter Honshell. Miss Daniels is standing in the center back row with the white hat on her head.
